A brand where craft & reliability come together.

Led by Owen Thompson himself, and given the craft, hands-on and intuitive nature of his work, it became clear that keeping his name was a strong move. Much like an artists' signature, OJ Thompson's wordmark and logo needed to represent the high standards of his work, along with repositioning his business from a shopfitting, carpentry-led builder to a full design and construction powerhouse.– The simple wordmark can expand or contract into the brand's initials. This movement brings the idea of breaking-out of the mold, and representing OJ's "out-of-the-box", creative-led work ethos.– With a minimal approach to the visual identity roll-out, we brought a simple, elegant typography to the forefront, and paird with a strong, reductive colour palette we achieved a brand that has a high-end, premium feel.
