There's. So. Much. Happening.
We are usually head down into our work, wholly focused on helping our client's achieve their goals that we rarely take the time to step back and look and what has been happening within our own studio and around us. But you didn't click through to this article to read us "gloat" about being busy to the point of neglecting our personal lives, so let's get through it.

This article, or maybe a series *Hover Hive*, is our first attempt to bring a big round-up of what we have been up to. Not that you have asked, but hey we would rather be that friend that sends a letter than to leave you wandering what has happened to us.

In a nutshell, we moved studio spaces, opened new stores with our clients, launched some pretty groovy campaigns, welcomed new team-members and may have skipped a meal or two in the process and maybe forgotten to call home – thank you for asking.

Jacinto Group's Two Yolks and Finn Poke open stores in beloved Southbank, Brisbane.

Yep, that's right. In case you been living under a rock (or in a shell, whatever you'd choose as a small animal dwelling) – Gold Coast's favourite's Two Yolks and Finn Poke have opened their first Brisbane stores.

Featuring a stunning design by **Architect Studio**, we worked with the Jacinto Group team to conceptualise how the two brands would translate into the city-scape of Brisbane while retaining its original coastal vibes.

Working closely with Jacinto Group at an ongoing partnership capacity, we took on the role of brand-guardians, assisting in all design, brand, marketing and PR activities as part of the stores launch.

We got another absolute gun in the team!

What's better than having the equivalent to a Design Smoking Gun? Yep, you guessed it, having two Design Smoking Guns!

It's probably about time we publicly welcome Ethan into the team. It's not like he has been working with us since last year or something 😅 (maybe?), but it's definitely way overdue of an announcement.

Having graduated last year from SAE Byron Bay and celebrated as the winner of their Design Competition with none other than Semi-Permanent, the kid already has some feather's in his hat. But don't get mistaken, having lived a past life as a Chef working at renowned restaurants, he is no stranger to hard-hustle and proper pressure-cooker situations and handles whatever challenge we throw his way with style and grace.

Ethan joins Talita and together they form the studio's solid (and ultra-versatile) creative back-bone. We couldn't be more proud of the work they produce on the daily; more like by the minute; and in bulk.

New Diggity Digs!

You may have noticed above (on the lovely team shot) a beautiful new, green and bushy backdrop – or maybe you didn't, but either way, we have moved!

We are now proud locals to Currumbin Waters. More like "Have been since last November" but hey, who's is counting?

We love the new hood and new space we get to share with our partners (and absolute legends) from Passos and Nuve. New address been added to the footer of this very site, but please do let us know if you come across our old one anywhere else 🙂

We will always love our past homes in Varsity Lakes and Burleigh and their respective communities. We have been incredibly fortunate to get to share spaces with and around amazing people doing some pretty awesome things.

We got some of the best little hidden cafes around, and a brewery or two a stone's throw away – so pick your poison and let's hang (by appointment only though, don't that guy/gal).
